Lincoln displayed a high level of touch in the Eastern Regional Development Series League 2, with four wins out of five games.
Coming second with only two points difference with table leaders St Cambridge, who inflicted Lincoln's only loss of the day (2-1).
Lincoln Touch play under the "MB's touch" team name in the ERDS series to honour the late Mike Beard who founded the team in 2012. He was very keen on the development of players in the world of Touch and Lincoln uses the ERDS to develop new players into competitive games.
Lincoln turned up with only seven players due to late injuries and the withdrawal of coach/vice captain Rob Smith due to work commitments.
Lincoln, however, managed to recruit a few players from other teams to give Lincolns' squad of seven a few moments of rest throughout the tournament.
Lincoln stepped up their game creating an awesome team performance, doing their attacking drives on point and never slowed down the tempo going forwards, with strong defence conceding only six tries.
The team kept reviewing their game plan throughout the day and finished with a 5-0 win in the final game against East Coast Panthers.
The officials commented on the performance of Lincoln's Emily Gourlay in the final match, saying it was "defensively perfect" with "great communication skills".
Lincoln's overall top try scorer was Tor Raynor with four and Sam Richmond produced multiple assists to send almost all of his team over the line to keep racking up points.
Noah Jones said: "Lincoln's standard of passing and catching along with running into space has raised their game to a whole new level, making it easier to convert great skill into tries."
The second-place finish in roundn two will see Lincoln return to St Ives for the third round of the Eastern Regional Development Series on December 4.
Lincoln Touch train on Tuesday evenings between 7pm and 8.30pm.
