Lincoln Rugby Club U16's travelled to Market Rasen on Sunday (April 27) to play the inaugural Sam Staple Memorial game.

The game was preceded by a beautiful short speech from Lincoln Captain James Thomas, a minutes applause in celebration of Sam and then the game was played in the very best of spirits by two teams who have supported each other through the hardest of times. Rugby family at its very finest ❤️🤍💚

Lincoln left the pitch 19 - 52 winners 🏆

Sam's family were in attendance and the trophy was presented to Lincoln captain James Thomas by Sam's grandad Howie Staple.

For Sam ❤️ 🤍 💚
