Lincoln RFC Player selected for Loughborough Lightning’s Centre of Excellence
We are pleased to congratulate Livia Briggs in being selected to play for Loughborough Lightning’s Centre of Excellence for the 2023/24 season.
Livia started her Rugby journey at the Club in our U13’s after following in her younger brother’s footsteps. Livia has been a constant team player at Lincoln since 2018; and our Newark neighbours since 2022, where Livia was selected to represented the NLD U18’s. Early this year she was put forward as 1 of only 5 NLD players to trial at the midlands premier 15’s team.
After 2 trials and playing in the England Rugby Academy’s festival at Malvern, Livia has has been asked to join the U18 Centre of Excellence team, where she will train on a weekly basis across both the Loughborough and Northampton Saints sites and be available for for their games against other centres.
We are extremely proud of Livia’s achievements so far and wish her the best of luck for the future
