Lincoln Rugby Football Club operates a strict No Pay! No Play! policy.

Additionally, here are some reminders as to the benefits of club membership and some examples of how your fees are spent (the list is not exhaustive):

  • Lincoln Rugby Football Club was established in 1882. Membership and playing fees are integral in maintaining the fine tradition that is our club
  • Paying your membership makes you a 'member' of Lincoln Rugby Football Club
  • Members are vital stakeholders and have voting rights at the club's AGM - our members are the 'club'
  • Our members can play, watch, coach and/or referee - enjoying rugby at all levels
  • Members benefit from qualified coaches and referees who share their knowledge freely
  • If you want to become a coach or referee, then your qualifications are paid for
  • The Club pays for and hosts regular CPD and Masterclass sessions
  • The Club pays NLD for society referee's (where appropriate) so that we can play and enjoy our rugby
  • Entry to various festivals and competitions
  • Players (including the opposition), coaches and referees receive free food after their matches
  • Members benefit from an army of volunteers whose time is given freely to keep the club running
  • A warm and welcoming clubhouse with a subsidised bar for members and a kitchen supplying quality food to purchase
  • Wages for bar, kitchen and cleaning staff
  • Capital costs of the clubhouse and various grounds and building upgrades
  • Hire of clubhouse and facilities at preferential rates
  • Large screens showing BT Sports TV and wireless broadband
  • Five great pitches, three under floodlights, and great player and playing facilities as well as playing and training equipment
  • Pitch maintenance including cutting, seeding, fertiliser and drainage
  • Fantastic volunteer grounds staff
  • Playing kit laundered for match days for all our senior men and ladies sides
  • Three senior men's sides and a ladies team. Mixed Kids First rugby from under U6's through to U12's. Youth girl's sides of U12, U14, U16 and U18?s. Junior boy's sides from U13's through to Colts
  • We also have a thriving Touch Rugby scene
  • RFU compulsory player registration/affiliation, including player personal accident insurance, amongst others, all included
  • Club physiotherapist for advice and treatment
  • First aid kits for all our teams

  • Legal representation at RFU disciplinary hearings
